f there was an award for worst lighting in restaurants, Valencia would win. It’s literally: what you see is what you get. Great if you wanna investigate your food or your date’s face, not great if you’re looking for a cozy place to eat. However, there’s hope, because it’s not like that everywhere ;-)
The people of Lambrusquería know how to dim the lights and make things cozy and romantic with lots of candles and cute little lights. I love some romantic vibes, top that up with great Italian dishes and I’m a satisfied woman.
Great service, good prices & amazing food
That’s not the only reason why we love these restaurants. The service is great, the prices are good and most importantly: the food is amazing. You’ll be welcomed with open arms and while checking out the menu, you’ll get some bread and Italian sausage which is on the house. Great way to win our hearts, clever Italians.
They have salads and soups starting from €7,95, cheeses and cold meats starting from €6,95, pastas starting from €6,90, meats starting from €7,50 and desserts starting from €4,95. As you would expect from an Italian restaurant, great wines are on their menu too, starting from €2,40 per glass.
Menus
During the weekends, we go for their special evening menus. This costs €21,- and includes a starter, main dish, and dessert. They’ll tell you what they’ll serve you, and trust me, it’s so good! You can order as much as you want, so if you want another portion, just ask – there are no additional costs.
They also have a menu of the day, from Monday to Friday between 13.30 and 16.00, this costs €8,95 and includes a starter, main dish, and dessert as well.
If you have any allergies or intolerances, they kindly ask you to inform them. You can also find all information on the menu.
Our favorites
It’s hard to decide what our Lambrusquería favorites are, but here are some of them:
Salad Victoria with goat cheese, banana or pear, walnut, and raisins.
Faggotino: a puff pastry with apple, cheese, and truffle.
Speck: smoked dry meat from the northern mountains in Italy.
Tagliatelle Norcina: Fettuccine with mushrooms, sausage, and fresh truffle cream.
Carpaccio alla Albese: carpaccio of uncooked beef with extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, and parmesan.
Monte Blanco: Piemonte’s sweet cake with a chocolate sponge cake and a lot of cream.
Pizzeria
They opened a pizzeria as well in May 2021, this is breaking news to me because I literally just read about it. I have total faith that their pizzas will be just as mouth-watering as their other dishes. Their menu is different so do check that out here.They offer a special menu from Monday to Friday between 13.30 and 16.00 for €8,95.

Lambrusquería has a delivery service too. You can order through the apps Ubereats, Glovo & Just Eat
Free advice
- Make a reservation, especially if you’re with a group. It’s no surprise that these restaurants are loved by lots of people.
- Go for their special menus, it’s very affordable and you can eat as much as you want.
- Take your crush, partner, or anyone you fancy on a romantic date here.
- Celebrate your birthday with a big group (like we did)! You can always ask the staff about the options, and remember… they love candles, need I say more?
- Valencian winters can be colder than you expect, but you can still sit outside on one of the terraces. All Lambrusquería restaurants have heaters outside.
